Let’s push the boundaries of what your clients can achieve
By working together, we can help your clients get unstuck using Brainspotting and EMDR Intensives, giving you the space to focus on the work you’re passionate about
With options for 1, 2, or 3 Day Intensives, we’ll find the best fit for your client

What is an Adjunct Therapy Intensive?
Adjunct therapy is a strategic partnership to enhance the work you’re doing with your clients.
When you refer your client to a Therapy Intensive, you’re helping them enhance their possibility for deeper healing and the opportunity to dive deep into specific issues or challenges they might not fully address in weekly or biweekly appointments.
I offer focused, short term work, and then return the client to you, who is ready to continue their journey. One of the pre-requisites when screening for adjunct therapy is that clients understand our work is time-limited and they will return to their current therapist for ongoing care.
By incorporating adjunct Brainspotting or EMDR sessions, you’re not only adding a referral to your list — you’re offering an additional pathway to deep, transformative healing. The intensity and depth of work allows for quicker resolution of stuck points and can bring clarity to long-term treatment goals.
Together, we can create a therapeutic environment where breakthroughs are not possible, but actually achievable. Let’s work together and redefine what’s possible for your clients.

Reach Out & Connect
Schedule a complimentary colleague consult and I will answer all of your questions about adjunct work. I totally get it, giving a referral requires a lot of trust in the other clinician. You know your client well and you want to make sure you have all the info you need before you recommend an Adjunct Intensive. You can ask me anything — my goal is to make sure I’m the right person to offer this service to your client.
Pre-Intensive Support
With a signed Release of Information from your client, I can send you a short (3-5 item) questionnaire to help me be of better service. The questionnaire covers things like how long you’ve been working together, a brief review of treatment up to this point, and issues that you believe your client would benefit from working on during their Adjunct Intensive.
Post-Intensive Summary
If your client has signed a Release of Information, I will send you a summary about 10 days after the Intensive is completed. This summary includes your client’s progress, a short summary of each Intensive Session, and some of your client’s key takeaways. My goal is to make the entire process seamless and useful for your ongoing clinical work with your client.
Therapist FAQs
What does a Therapy Intensive look like?
The structure of a Therapy Intensive is very different from traditional weekly or biweekly therapy.
For a 1 Day Intensive, I meet with clients for a 90 minute Pre-Intensive Assessment to learn about their concerns, gather background history, and develop specific goals.
About 1-2 weeks later, clients have their Intensive Session, which allows for 3 hours of deep therapeutic work using Brainspotting or EMDR in a single day.
A few weeks after the Intensive, I meet with clients for a 90 minute Post-Intensive Aftercare session to discuss their experience, progress they’ve noticed, and put together an aftercare plan to help them continue their journey.
How do I know if my client is a good fit for a Therapy Intensive?
Therapy Intensives are perfect for:
- Clients who have underlying issues that do not get addressed during weekly or biweekly therapy
- Clients who are ready and motivated to address deeper issues
- Clients who “feel like a broken record” every session and cannot seem to move forward or are stuck
- Clients have a specific trauma they want to resolve
Who is not a good fit for a Therapy Intensive?
Intensives are not the right fit for your client if:
- Your client is satisfied with weekly or biweekly therapy
- Your client is overwhelmed by the idea of accelerating their healing
- Your client is not interested in addressing their underlying issues
- Your client is not interested in Brainspotting or EMDR
- Your client is in a mental health crisis & requires 24/7 support
Therapy Intensives are not the same as intensive outpatient therapy (IOP) and are not appropriate as a step down from inpatient care or psychiatric hospitalization.
What can an Intensive help with?
Therapy Intensives can help with a range of issues, including:
- PTSD or traumatic experiences
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Negative self-talk or limiting beliefs (IE: “I’m not good enough.”)
- Grief, loss, or change
- Racial or generational trauma
- Childhood abuse or neglect
- Sexual assault or domestic violence
- Accidents, illness, or medical trauma
- Persistent or longstanding issues
- “Stuckness”
What kind of prep work do I need to do?
No prep work is required for the referring therapist.
Optional: If you’re willing (and your client completes an ROI), I have a brief questionnaire that helps me better serve you and your client.
